It seems like Twitter has also joined the revolution of artificial intelligent technology by acquiring the startup Whetlab. What made Whetlab so vital to join the Twitter network? Whetlab technology helps automate and speed up machine-learning experiments. Whetlab also shut down its private beta that was scheduled for next month. Twitter is joining the growing list of companies seeking to lay claim to the next generation of artificial intelligence applications and systems. Twitter released a tweet on the acquisition of Whetlab. It seem the startup tech will be used to accelerate Twitter’s machine learning efforts.

Twitter made another long term bet on another artificial intelligent startup last year called Madbits. Madbits principal function was image search, and the creation of intelligent image sets which automatically organize large databases of images. Online reports did not provide any details or information on how much  Twitter acquired for the startup Whetlab. This is a very fascinating acquisition by Twitter as other big companies such as Facebook and Google also have snapped up artificial intelligent startups to further  their ever growing tech portfolios.More information on this acquisition as more information is released.
