Are You Ready For Terminator Genisys This Summer?

Posted by: on Jun 27, 2015 | No Comments

I can’t hide my excitement for the release of the new Terminator Genisys reboot/sequel film that’s set to be release on July 01, 2015. I was on the fence for a few months after taking a peek at a few photos. I made a hard decision not to see any of the trailers or photos a few months ago. This morning while on Facebook I seen an interesting Terminator trailer clip that caught my eye. Major spoiler alert, the film will revisit the first movie and the events from this new movie will have major changes on the current story continuum. The clip I watched today toyed with the idea of what happens when the timeline from the original Terminator come in conflict with the new movie timeline. I really enjoy storyline plots that involve time travel and the  effects on current timelines . I must admit that clip really sold me to get my butt out to see the new film during opening weekend. I’m curious to see how Skynet and how the new film will spin a new chapter in the series. The new film has a huge budget of $170 million. The Terminator Genisys film is being produce by Skydance Production with distribution by Paramount Pictures.

After the disappointment of Terminator Salvation few thought the series could return or match the awesome Terminator 1 and 2. For me personally, I enjoyed Terminator 1, 2 and 3. Salvation wasn’t that bad but the vibe was all wrong. I could see a good film within Terminator Salvation but I guess it was left on the editing floor. Terminator Genisys will see the return of Arnold Schwarzenegger as the artificial intelligent T-800 model. Regardless of the few mix reviews I seen on Terminator Genisys I still have a great feeling it can deliver with a talent cast that include the Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Lee Byung-hun and J. K. Simmons. The film is directed by Alan Taylor and written by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. The film is scheduled to be released by Paramount Pictures on July 1, 2015. The film will be shown in regular theaters plus showings in 3D, Real 3D, and IMAX 3D.
