Today TechGeniux would like to share a quick news update on the new OTON X development game console units. “The EnGeniux Team and I have done as much as we could do in-house regarding the OTON development,” states OTON creator Derrick Samuels. EnGeniux will be shipping a few developer units to the next and final stage of development. The development process is extremely long for producing a system on this level for a startup. The EnGeniux’s Team goal is to create and release a system that can support developers yet give the early adopter gamers a solid unit to create games or play new game levels OTON creates. The system will only support 2D games but as EnGeniux update the unit, players and developers can gain access to new 3D created games assets with more rich graphics. The EnGeniux Team is working hard to get the development units ready for shipment in a few weeks. The EnGeniux Team had a few bug issues, plus working to close new funding to deliver the best possible console experience. EnGeniux definitely has something big planned for the demos and media release units.

EnGeniux is only producing 100 developer units so we can better monitor to system, game creation and overall OTON network. The first 100 pre-orders will receive a free a final retail unit once those units are ready. So each OTON pre-order customers will get a 2 for 1 deal with their order.  The developer units will retail for $399 but the value the company plan to give to developers will  have a significant return on investment once developers start producing games.
