Posted by: on Feb 25, 2015 | No Comments

Motorola Mobility was acquired by Chinese technology company Lenovo for US$2.91 billion on January 29, 2014 from Google Inc. and tomorrow Motorola is set to make a huge  announcement possibly about it’s Moto E smartphone headset. The buzz around the Internet is the company is sending invitations to certain media outlets. I guess the TechGeniux Team missed out on the invite but we anticipate to share whatever news Motorola has planned for tomorrow. Some reports speculate the huge announcement is the Moto E with Verizon and 4G LTE. The first Moto E was unveiled last year. Motorola positioned the Moto device as a high-end feature smartphone at low-end prices. The Android Police website shared a  leaked Verizon Moto E (Second Generation) phone powered by Verizon 4G LTE network. Leaked Moto specifications around the web show 8GB of storage, 1GB of RAM, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm chip, and a 4.5″ 960×540 display.

Motorola teaser on Friday of last week had the following message via 9to5 Google website:
The invite reads: “Motorola is making an exciting announcement next week and wants you to be in the front row. The best part? You get to choose where and when you’d like to experience it. Everything you need fits inside one box, which we will deliver to your doorstep on Wednesday.”

With Samsung gearing up to make head waves with an announcement on the new Samsung Galaxy S6 next month, it seems that Motorola is taking the front position to get the buzz going early for its Moto E LTE smartphone this week. The Moto E is position to set the standard for the finest Android sub-$150 smartphone for 2015. Stay tuned to TechGeniux to get the scoop!
