Can a game console intelligently create its own games? The developer of OTON X thinks so….

Pretty soon scientists will make a website that autonomously publish its own gaming stories seen from a stoned perspective and I’ll be out of a job. I’ll then take my newly acquired free time and kidnap those scientists until they reverse what they did — or teach me how to build a time machine so I can change the course of history and make an ignorant amount of money betting on sports. It worked for Biff in Back to the Future II, and we all know movies are accurate depictions of reality.

In the future, your game consoles will have enough artificial intelligence to create games for you. Leave those brain cells at home, machines will tell us what we should be doing. Besides, thinking is overrated anyway. Just look at history — humans have been wrong most of the time. It’s like we’ve just been cleaning up our past for generations. On a long enough time span machines will eventually act on our behalf to preserve our own species, and that would ultimately mean through complete indoctrination. Perhaps the dystopian robot future starts with Derrick Samuels’ OTON X, a game console capable of creating its very own games. It sounds too amazing to be true, but he tells us his plans for global gaming domination in our exclusive interview. Check it out.
